Best $500-$600 Sub

Guys,

I have someone who is looking into upgrading their sub (Polk PSW404). The room is 15' by 25'. He feels the sub is not enough for this room. He's looking in the $500 to $600 range. this maybe flexible. What are the best values at this price point for this room size. I've been looking at SVS. Any favorites their? Please let me know.

I've had my SVS PB10-ISD for a couple of weeks now. It can do what my former B&W ASW600 couldn't and for cheaper. For the room in question (my room is smaller), I'd go with what Andrew suggested. After hearing great stuff about SVS time and again, I finally got one and don't regret it.

You could also build your own if you wanted to, save some money, and have a better end product IMO if done right. But I think you're looking to just buy right?
