    I've narrowed my choices to these two units. Looking for advise on which to choose. Can anybody help? Anything better in this price range ($800-$1,000)?

    60% =music
    40% =ht

    Room size 14x30 w/ t.v. on long wall.
    Speakers 8" JBL S38, & similar quality souronds.

      I have a AVR340 and all the specifications on the ampliffiers says 8 Ohm only. I know in the past older Harman Kardon amps have been stable at at least 4 Ohms also. I would like to run a pair of 4 Ohm speakers for the main front speakers.

      I've been looking at Harman Kardon 7300, Denon 3805, Marantz SR8400, Sony STR-DA3000ES.

      I have a Harman Kardon AVR 340 that I want to use as a pre/pro and buy a amp to power my speakers - B&W DM603 (frontal), LCR60 (center) and LM-1 (surround).

      I selected two amps that I think will match my speakers - Rotel 1066 and Outlaw 7075 but I'm not sure if they will work fine...
