    Harman Kardon DVD30 - Media Issues / Firmware

    Hi,

    I have a Harman Kardon DVD30 Player, which I am trying to use with DVD-R Media. I will burn a movie on a DVD-R media, it will play. However the next day it will no longer be able to read the disc, it display's "disc error".

    I have tried a number of different media Sony/TDK/RiTEK/Laser and diffrent DVD Burners.

    It players original DVD's flawlessly and CD/CDR's without any problems.

    Has anyone else had this problem?

      I have a AVR340 and all the specifications on the ampliffiers says 8 Ohm only. I know in the past older Harman Kardon amps have been stable at at least 4 Ohms also. I would like to run a pair of 4 Ohm speakers for the main front speakers.
      Has anyone tried this or know if the amp is okay with...

      I have a Harman Kardon AVR 340 that I want to use as a pre/pro and buy a amp to power my speakers - B&W DM603 (frontal), LCR60 (center) and LM-1 (surround).

      I selected two amps that I think will match my speakers - Rotel 1066 and Outlaw 7075 but I'm not sure if they will work fine...
