Which amp to choose??

    Which amp to choose??

    I am looking in to getting separates, and I need a little help choosing an amp. I have decided to get the Anthem AVM 30. My room is 30x22x8 and I have Paradigm Monitor 11's, 2 pairs of Monitor 7's, CC-370, all version 3 and a version 2 Pw-2200 sub. I like to listen a loud levels, not to the point where my ears start bleeding., but loud enough so I can get a strong impact. I am looking either into Anthem PVA 7 or the NAD T973. Which you would choose? My dealer carries both and I will be going into listen to them soon. Also my speakers are fairly sensitive 93 db - 94 db.

      What is your budget? You Canadian fellas can get Bryston amps fairly reasonably priced --- they're great amps.

          Right now I am trying to spend 3 k CDN for 7 channels, maybe 3.5k. My dealer also carries Bryston and Classe. Should I be able to get an Anthem MCA 20 and MCA 50 for close to 3 k?

              I have been considering a seperate two channel amp for my front Paradigm 100's for a while now and I am undecided between the Rotel RB1080 and the Anthem MCA 20. Both are 200Wpc, 2 channel amps.

              How do the Anthem MCA Series amplifiers stack up against the big boys like Proceed, B&K Ref, etc.
              They appear to be a good value and the reviews on AR are all positive.

              They are rated at 200WxN but looking at the specs on the SF website they put out this power at higher THD...

              I read that many people in this forum really like the rotel 1068/1075/1080. I am planning on getting the 1068 but wonder how Anthem MCA 5 compare to Rotel 1075? I watch 40% movie and 60% music. Thank you. :B

              now that I have my sub requirements fulfilled for the moment, I intend to buy either the 601 or 602 bookshelf speakers ...

              the 602 is gigantic but only a few bucks more than the 601 ...
              I plan on using this as PC speakers but do not wish to buy OTHER options because I want this...

              Recently I sold my Anthem MCA-5 power amp to upgrade two channel performance. The amp I ordered for main L/R is on order and I decided to buy a used Rotel RB-1050 to power surround speakers down the road, but until my main amp arrives, the RB-1050 is my main amp. I bought it used.
