    rotel rsp 1068 vs nad t163

    I have a dedicated home theatre with relatively old equipment. I want to upgrade to dolby digital surround sound. Currently I have denon amps which I've been told are fine. I'll require a new preamp/processor and I'm searching for the best I can do up to $1200. Any recs/suggestions with nad, rotel or any other products?

      I'd also take a look at the Sherwood Newcastle P-965. It has received rave reviews and is an awesome value.
