    Integrated HT Amp?

    Maybe I'm way off on this one, but I don't know why we have receivers and separtes but not an Integrated HT Amp. This would seem to make sense to me, my HT is in the basement of my home so reception is questionable at best and beside, who wants to listen to ESPN Radio in surround sound DTS Neo 6?

    While, I'm sure that the "tuner" part of the receiver is minor, it would be nice to have the option to improve the amplifier section and remove some of the uh...stuff that you don't want to pay for.

      Today, I just upgraded from a 19 inch TV to a 32 inch JVC AV32D201. The reception on the 32 inch is much worse, unwatchable really, than the 19 inch. Is there anyway to improve the reception without buying an external antenna?

      BTW, I am using rabbit ears with the 19 inch TV (now located...

      What do you think is the best listening mode for optical reception from the satellite. Ie movies, shows, music on Satellite reception.

      I've been using DPII, but am not sure if something else might be better ?
