The Eagle - Farewell Tour I

I had the great pleasure of seeing The Eagles in Concert. My brother-in-law bought my wife and I the tickets as thank you for living with us. They were great seats but after the concert started Allison and I made them better by moving down to some empty seats. We watched the remainder of the concert 30 yards from side stage. 8) If I had a camera I would had some great pictures.

They played all the favorites including songs from Don Henely, Glenn Fry and Joe Walsh's solo carreers.Hands down Joe Walsh stole the show. His tunes got the crowd rocking and he was also the most active on stage. Glenn Fry has the best voice and Don Henley sang with great emotion and feelings.

To conclude - THE EAGLES ROCK

I saw the "Hell Freezes Over" tour at Rice stadium here in Houston. It was one killer of a show! Your description of the big three pretty much sums up what that one was like too.

Hearing the Eagles always brings back fond memories. Would have loved to see them live.

Glad you enjoyed the show Eduardo. That was a nice gesture, even if they did eat your Captain Crunch.

            Eagles Farewell Tour DVD
            by jimmyp58
Hey Eagles fans, in case you didn't know, their Farewell Tour Concert on DVD will be released in the next few weeks. It was recorded in Australia. I've heard it was a phenomenal concert and if this DVD concert's sound is anything like their other concert DVD, it should sound fabulous too.

Eagles Farewell 1 Tour - Live From Melbourne
            by Bing Fung

I just watched and listened to this last night. It has a lot of good tracks and performances. Of particular note is "Boys of Summer" and "Sunset Grill", I found those songs to be done particularly well. I actually had to play those tracks a few times afterward...

            Eagles New CD?
            by Foxman
Just curious if anyone here has picked up the new Eagles CD and what your thoughts were of it.

FYI: If you didn't know, it is only available at Sam's club or Walmart.

The title is Long road out of Eden and is a 2 disk set.

Here is a copy and paste of a review...

            Bob Dylan's latest tour
            by Bob
With an average of 200 concert dates per year, Dylan pretty much hits all parts of the country each year. I try to catch him every time he plays in the Los Angeles area and even go to multiple concerts when possible. Every concert is a surprise and every tour always has an exceptional band.
