    Michael,

To add to the mix, also consider...

B&W ASW 750 for excellent visual and tonal match, tight musicallity and great HT performance. - this is cheaper than the the James 1200 too.

    or

SVS PB2+ for seemlngly limitless HT bass to make the earth move for you, while still being musical. (for a little more than the SVS Ultra your get twice the drivers and way better bass)

Aussie Geoff, have you compared to the 2 different SVS that you mentioned there? I have the PCi20-39 right now and I'm just not fully satisfied with it. It's ok for my room size, 11.5ft wide, 28 ft long and 8 ft high. The PB2+ you talking about is the PB12plus/2 right which goes for around $1200? If you have compared the 2? How would you describe the difference between the 2?

        SVS Sub Question
        by Markmm
Trying to decided amongst the SVS Subs. Has anyone compare the Ultra's with the Plus's. For $1200 you can get sub with 1 12" Ultra or 2 12" Plus's. Are the Ultra's that much better or would it be better to have the 2 12"'s?

        Thanks!

        SVS PB13-Ultra VS. Velodyne DD12
        by SoundEngine355
        Hi,

        I'm down to two subwoofers.

        SVS PB13-Ultra VS. Velodyne DD12

Pros and Cons I can think of:

        1. SVS is $500 cheaper
        2. Velodyne is smaller, SVS is double the size
        3. SVS goes lower according to the tests.
        4. Velodyne...

        Trigger pulled, Universal Remote?
        by Patrick TX
Well, I finally did it, pulled the trigger on the 1066/1075 in Silver. My dealer should have it in a week. I'm moving to seperates, WooHoo! Here's my question. I was underwhelmed by the remote on the display unit I was looking at. It just didn't feel "right", to me. I was also playing with...

Subwoofers? SVS vs. HSU vs. Definitive????Help.
        by Rolyasm
Thanks in advance for any reply.
I am building a didicated home theatre room. Dimensions are 18x23. I want to get some clean, deep sound coming from my sub, or subs, and I know after reading all the forums there is a lot to say, especially about SVS and HSU. Ultimate Electronics has a Definitive...
