It is always neat to come across a good value find. by good value I mean $100 or less HAHA.
These wont find there way into, hmmm some..fancy place.
One seems rare in the USA compared to Europe and Australia.
That would be TDL 303's in excellent condition.
3 other pairs are
Monitor Audio R352's. With original stands. I pulled the Woofers and yes they are original, thank goodness. But they are waiting for my lazy butt to recap the tweeter xover cap.
Seems I have blown a tweeter. and another tweeter, the Magnet fell off! LOL, no damage. That happened when I fell over the speaker, knocking it to the floor, damaging the original stand. could have nearly died. Don't ask!
I actually put it back on and the Tweeter worked.... kind of? I have two vifa replacments.
I just cant find where I put the new Caps. My hobby room is a disaster zone!
RS Optimus LX10 Pro. Perhaps not at the top of the list for many. not rare. but for 40$ and working Tweeters, OK then! I listen to them via a Kenwood KR9600
And a recent local find, that sound pretty good overall. Mid-Fi and all... MB Quart Domain 55, with a Center speaker. $60. lol.
Not cheap and so not finds, but what the hay, I do listen to Infinty CS3007's. Two Pairs. and a Pair of close out discounted Focal Chorus.
