    NHT Speaker Cabinet Cleaning Advice

    Hello,

I've got some NHT SuperTwo's, and my nephews and nieces got their grubby hands all over the cabinets (good thing I put the grills back on before they came over). Any NHT owners out there have any tips or solutions for cleaning the cabinets? I love NHT's black piano gloss finishes, but man, they are a pain to clean!

I've got a lot of Piano black, also hard to clean. I buy these dusting cloths that have a nice nap on them, and wet them to wipe my Piano black with. Works pretty well. Use a light soap if you must, then wipe with another wet cloth, then a buff cloth to dry. It's non abrasive, and non corrosive.

Noobster build with Piano Black How To

For the piano black finish.....get ready. This is quite a bit of work. Made MUCH easier with the right tools...but is a bit of bear regardless. Total time took over a month for me including all my orders/lessons learned/and actual finishing. With a second go-round, I bet I could do it over 3-4 weeks only working on weekends. Biggest part is drying time. Figure a day for final sanding/polishing/installing components for the pair.

I tried to do it the poor man's way, but it was exhausting...

NHT ! Hi! i wanted to make a thread for people with the same interest in NHT speakers as i do. From their warm articulate sound, smooth dynamic range, and beautiful piano black finishes, NHT has challenged the notion that they are can offer the best sound reproduction that usually comes at a premium...

Cleaning need for piano lacquer: bigger than the wood finish??
      by gerardhn
      Hi all,

Now the new black piano lacquer is on the market for some time.... what about its cleaning needs.

In the old 802+ series, I had to remove weakly a thin layer of white dust from the marlan head. The wooden body needed no care.

      Of course horizontal...
