Butch Trucks, 69, died 1/24 (Tuesday evening). One of the co founders of the Allman Brothers Band, and uncle of Derek Trucks (one of my favorites), passed away last night. Part of an amazing musical legacy, The Allman Brothers music has been part of my life since first hearing their music in 1970.
