    Some new Schitt at RMAF...

An interesting mix of preamps and power amps, an area where I thought the product line could offer some build out. Dual mode preamps - passive or active/buffered.

Some new Schitt in power amplifiers... the Vidar
              by JonMarsh

The Vidar was announced back in late 2016, but has just begun shipping- the same week that the first Tesla Model 3's go to owners. While I wouldn't claim that the importance or impact of these events on the world at large is equivalent, it just might be that it is that important...

This will be a run down on the Schitt Modi Multi-bit, test review sample provided by a forum member.

This unit's claim to fame is being the lowest cost DAC on the market with a closed form HF upsamping filter (original samples are kept, oversampling interpolates between them), and a true...

              RMAF 2008 impressions
              by jdybnis
I just came back from RMAF. This was my first such HiFi show, DIY or otherwise. The whole experience was really cool. I got to hear many different kinds of systems. I highly recommend going to anyone who hasn't been to one.

Hoping Class D amps will encourage more preamps
              by boe
              Howdy,

I was thinking with more companies starting to create Class D amps, I'm hoping to see more Preamps/processors from companies that used to create preamps. I remember in the early 90s there were many mid range companies such as rotel making preamps. They pulled out for whatever...
