    Looking for a pre-amp recomendation

Looking for recommendations for a pre-amp to run my 2.1 system which consists of Wavecor Ardents, Hypex NC400 amp, NAD M51 dac, Rega RP6.

    It should have:
Well regarded MM (at least) phono stage.
Balanced output required and a balanced input would be preferred.
Bass management would be nice but not a deal breaker.
    A remote control.
    Sound awesome.
    Be ~$2k new or used.

I've been looking at all the myriad of options and just can't nail one down.

Check out Parasound or Musical Fidelity, that may fit the bill for you. Interesting amps and very cool speakers. Maybe you are the market for a DIY preamp?

Or perhaps the Rotel RC-1590 if/when it is released.

I'm a big user of Parasound, so if I had unlimited funds I'd be going with a Parasound JC-2, JC-3

Those guys were the only one that fit the bill perfectly. The issue is Parasound pulled out of Canada a few years ago so I'd have to go used from the states.

Not hard to do! You can find a few on Audiogon.

Vincent on sale at Audio Adviser:

                  LINK

Combine with Phono Pre (would necessitate an extra set of cables):
