    Hi,

Yep, you need an amp. Here's a good one and it's perfect for driving small speakers.

No, that would not work. Driving a set of headphones is not the same as driving a set of speakers.

aarsoe is correct that's not enough power. You need a small amp. The T-amp is very nice.

            Maybe, you'd like this.

            The Mini Watt tube amp:

Get full-length product reviews, the latest news, tech coverage, daily deals, and category deep dives from CNET experts worldwide.

But, you're speakers better be 8 ohms and high senstivity ( like +90dB ). I'm not familiar with you speakers.

                    Hi,

The first amp (silver) you linked to on ebay will work. The tube amp doesn't have enough power. The recommended power for your speaker is 50-100 watts so don't expect to crank the volume up on these speakers and try to rock out in your room. But used as computer speakers it should work well.

Place them between "image tags" like the following. You'll need to use the square brackets but remove the blank spaces between the bracket and the TEXT:

                      [ IMG ]picture_name[ /IMG ]

Here's an example. Just click on the edit button at the bottom of this post to see the exact text on how I did it.

JLee, your pics for your SCM1 mounts seemed to have been archived. Anyways. I am probably going to get them in the next few weeks and I am trying to figure out how to mount them.

What I really want to do is mount them from the ceiling at a down and in direction, facing the key listening...

                        SCM1 or 805 as rears?
                        by Murunga
My original design was 805's as rears. My wife then said I could not place 805's and stands on the floor there and that I'd have to go with a shelf on the rear wall. So should I just put my (I already have them) 805's on the shelf or get SCM1's for wall mount? Do the 805's sound better? Are they the...
