    NHT Xda

    Hi,

    Anyone heard of the NHT Xda digital active speaker system? Can get one for a bargain at the moment, any reviews? This is one review I have read:

    NHT's Xd system is what audiophiles have been saying they want: a matched loudspeaker system that optimizes the performance of its components for a real-world domestic listening environment. But with their dollars they've voted against just such systems for years. If we put our money where our mouths are, active speaker systems such as Meridian's DSP or those used in recording studios would dominate the High End.

      They are a bargain as long as you realize that they are discontinued and the line will not be continued. Service/parts??

          I remember reading Kal's original review and John Atkinson's follow-up but I never saw anything else on this system. Well, I just hopped out on the 'net and found at least 4 more reviews that say the same things, and none that had much negative to say. High-praise reviews all around and potentially a great price - I'd be interested if I was looking.

                  No pictures yet, but thought there might be a bit of interest in something slightly different. My projects tend to move at the pace of glacial creep albeit without the sense of inevitable certainty, so when I hit a milestone it merits a bit of celebration.

                  I'm new to the forum so all info is greatly apprieciated. I would like to know if any one has auditioned or owned the Audes grand blues or the NHT vt-3's. I've read the reviews but not able to hear them since none are in my area of the pac nw.

                  NHT speakers with Rotel?

                  Anyone using their Rotel 1066/1075 combo, or other Rotel amp or receiver, to power NHT speakers? Currently have NHT VT2.4 fronts, VS2.4 center, and VT 1.2 rears, plus the NHT SubOne. My local Rotel dealer does not carry NHT and does not do at home demos. Would hate to buy Rotel (thinking of the 1066/1075)...

                  I'm seeking some advice...My local NHT dealer has made me a very good deal on the following:
                  two pair of NHT 2.9s and one AC-2 center (to be used as rear center for discrete rear channel).
                  These will replace my Dahlquist CA2/W1s (used for mains) and NHT SuperOnes (used for surrounds)....
