    Opinions , please...

I'm thinking of selling my Paradigms (Studio 60 v3) for financial and bass reasons (tissue paper walls). Does anyone have any experience/opinions on the Maggie MMGs ? Would 95 wpc be enough to drive them effectively? Any input would be appreciated.

Maggies like not only power but just as important "stable' power !

So if your thinking of driving them with a 95 watt amp, 8 ohm rating I assume, will it 'double down' (produce 190 watts into a 4 ohm load) ?? That is an important thing to look at when one is looking for a good amp for driving a challenging load.

I seriously doubt it. Only one EI transformer for a power supply , and the specs don't even mention 4 ohm capability , let alone rated power. Power was my main concern while considering this swap , and it seems I was right to be cautious! Thanks , twitch.
