Honestly my guess is that if we're to realisticlly add more then 7.1 speakers in most peoples homes its not going to be more wall mounted speakers but in the ceiling for over head fly overs etc. The fact is most people have trouble going to 6 or 7 main speakers due to room layouts so this system or anything like it likely isn't going to work well. -
I think the whole thing is pretty silly. I mean I'm sure it has an interesting sound to it, but i'm not sure his placement is well thought out...Comment

Cabling cost would outweigh any reduction in driver cone distortion.
