I agree with Jim here. As I stated earlier, if you want to build three 2RCC for your front three channels you should have them horizontal behind your screen. Jim makes a very good suggestion to build the Finalist. I fear your desire to build the Statements is going to cause you to make some design modifications and that may/will impact their performance which could sour your experience with DIY speakers.

There are plenty of designs out there. Find one that works for your application and build as designed for your best results.

      Ok. once again thank you.
So I misunderstood the part width three of the 2RCC. I see that my Statements-dream is step by step being crushed by the more wise people here.

So I`ll approach this a bit differently. Dont want to bother you guys anymore, som I`m starting a new post instead, and I`ll keep Finalist in mind. But I`d really like 3 identical speakers with ribbon as LCR. Again, thank you!

Hi again, I`m reviving this thread once more. :-) I have decided to build the regular 2rcc for my center channel, and was wondering if you could check the layout of my crossover before I start to weld and glue..? In advance, thank you.

I no longer have the crossover diagram, but the layout looks pretty good. You could have the one coil upright and perpendicular to the other to ensure there is no interferences. They look to be far enough apart, but it's an easy thing to do to be 100% sure.

Thanks! The thing I was really curious about was the part on the right with the 8.0 OHM/0.46 UF/0.3 MH. Cause its really not that clear in the image uploaded. It seems to be correct according to the diagram tough..

              Hi all

I registered here to share my results with existing builders and future builders. The Statement 2s are great. Thanks to Jim and Curt for making this design available. Excellent results.

My build is fairly close to the build plan. The only deviations were adding an additional...

              Matt's Statement Thread
              by snmhanson
I have decided to build a couple of Statement Monitors and a Statement 2RCC Center so I thought I would start a dedicated thread to chronical my build and get some questions answered. First off, I am making some slight changes to the cabinet designs in that I want to put a slight (6' radius) bend in...

              Sub cabinet bracing question
              by Jonniebravo
Sub cabinet is 4' wide X 2' deep X 18" tall. Loaded with Tempest-15". Would it matter if speaker was mounted on the 4' side facing the listener or on the 2' side which would be facing a side wall about 14" away. Also, if using 1" plywood, would the baffle need to be doubled in thickness(2")...

Statement 2 curved speaker build thread
              by mjack
I recently completed my Statement 2's and posted the results on here. I wanted to try to create a build thread with the few photos I took while building them for anyone that might be interested. A lot of the ideas for the build came from previous build threads on here. I don't know if I have anything...

Sealed Statement or Modified Statement Questions
              by snmhanson
As many of you may know, I have just finished building some Statement Monitors and a 2RCC. I love the speakers and certainly have no complaints. However, after seeing the aesthetics of the 2RCC I am finding myself wanting to build something with more drivers for my mains. I would build the regular...
