    Dual Layer DVD?

    So I seem to remember a few months ago that we were supposed to start seeing dual-layer writers coming out in April/May'ish ...? Well it's mid-May now and nothing?! :wtf:

    Anyone heard any developements/info about this? Has there been a delay? Are they still coming? Dang it, I want one!

          So it seems that right now the Sony's the only drive available, it's in it's developmental infancy and there's not much in the way of blank DL discs available anyways... Is this what I can gather?

          I'm starting to think I should just make due with a good SL burner for now until HD-DVD/BluRay becomes prevalent in a couple years. I can get a nice 8X SL writer for under $100 right now...it's mighty tempting....
