Uh, yeah, Bing... well, as much trouble as I had getting my SB Live Card to work with the cloned HD, maybe I should be considering some new upgrade techniques. Just don't shot the cat, OK?

A3.2cr power amp overhaul and upgrade
              by hifidez
Just had my Musical Fidelity A3.2cr power amp 'seen to' by John Sampson, the ex-MF guy.

This is the feedback I posted on John's website for JSaudiorepairs:

"I've had my A3.2cr power amp for some years and it occurred to me that replacing it to a similar standard, if...

              nailgun technique question
              by philip_g
I picked up some 1/4" staples for my brad/staple gun, but the dumb thing can't shoot an inch long staple through a single piece of 3/4 MDF, let alone any kind of joint.
I've never used this dumb thing before, but I'm feeding it the max pressure (100 PSI) is there a technique I'm supposed...

About a month ago, I went ahead with the purchase of a good $1.5K worth of tools and tool accessories, in the hope of constructing my dream speaker enclosures for a pair of well designed, large, full-range floor standing speakers. I am looking to build speakers that end up close to, but not to exceed,...

              Veneering Technique Question
              by JimK
I need some advice on veneering. (yes, I have read many of the existing threads). Lets say you have a large CC channel box in MDF that you plan to cover with unbacked veneer using the TB II iron-on technique......because that is exactly what I am planning.

              When you start to apply...

should i bi-amp using my 5ch amp, or upgrade?
              by remcoy
i moved from surround to 2 channel a while back, so i was thinking of swapping my RB-985 100x5 amp for a dedicated 2ch amp. RB-1070 or 1080 maybe, to drive a pair of B&W Matrix 805s. I was wondering if maybe i would just be better using the 985 to bi-amp the 805's. Do you think i would be missing...
