Popcorn Hour C-200 Blu-ray and HD audio support!

About US Cloud Media Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated in 2012 as an entity consolidating the operations of Syabas Technology, bringing Popcorn Hour brand. The history of Syabas Technology can be traced back to 2001, whereby in the early years, the company quickly emerged as an early leader in the

Wow! you can install a blu-ray drive or use a USB one. It also supports bit-streaming of HD audio even DTS-HD MA as well as decoding and outputting as LPCM. It also supports HD audio inside the MKV wrapper as well as .TS and .M2TS files. So things I've been wanting in my HTPC for a long time are available in this 300 dollar box.... I think I'll be moving my HTPC to another room shortly.

Here is a nice VERY in depth review of the C-200, granted it's almost a year old so there are probably many new firmwares that made it work much better. I think this guy was browsing files over wireless as well as the web features so I imagine that slowed things down a bit.

Sounds good. I think I've for the most part decided to go this route. It's cheaper then building a new low power HTPC, or at least close in price but in a nice form factor with a nice enclosure.

              McIntosh C200, C46 Preamps
              by jteoh1
I have difficulty locating local dealers with McIntosh C200 preamp available for audition. I haven't listened to either C200($7000) and C46($4250) yet. So, I’m looking for your valuable input in selecting a preamp below $7500 to match up with my MC501 mono block amps and B&W Nautilus 802 speakers....

Popcorn Machine for Your Home Theater Lobby
              by Chris D
This is certainly a staple of home theaters. What would a home movie theater experience be without popcorn? Up to now, I've always just used the microwave popcorn bags or small hot air popper. But with my theater project, I just had to buy an antique popcorn popper to put in my rec room/theater lobby....

... first thing I did was season the pan as directed. To do this you coat the inside of the pan lightly with vegetable oil, then heat it up , remove and let cool. Now I was ready for a bag of pre-mixed Home Theater Style popcorn from Wabash Valley Farms. I threw the contents of the packet in the pot,...

              Popcorn Machine
              by Mike B
Got us a popcorn machine. Whirly pops work good, but not as good as this thing. It makes some of the best corn we've ever had and it is a real bargain too. Gotta love overstocked Chinese stuff in a recession.

I just had to add some DIY touch though, so's I built this...

              Gone with the Wind (BluRay)
              by Burke Strickland
Celebrating its 70th anniversary, the studio that currently owns Gone with the Wind has released it on BluRay in a multiple-disc special collector's edition that includes a ton of extras (well, at least a couple of pounds of extras, some printed, others on the addtional discs) in the oversized box,...
