    Harmony 880 rattling noise

There is a very slight rattling noise when I tilt the remote. Does anyone else have this noise? Im not sure if its the sensor that lets it know when its tilted or a defect. I will return it for another if its a defected one.

    Thanks

I have the same thing Paul. It is so slight I need to put my ear up to it though. I think you may be right about the sensor. It sounds like a very very slight scratching when I tilt lengthwise or side to side.

Yeah, its so slightly that you dont notice unless holding it up to your ear. And the remote works perfectly, so its prob not a big deal. Just wanted to make sure since the thing is so expensive.

Mine does the same thing!
Must be the sensor inside to turn it on?

          Mine rattles too.
Only, I never noticed it until I read this.
I had to try it for myself and sure enough,
a slight rattle can be heard.
It must be the motion sensor that
automatically turns on the LCD when
          movement is detected.

Correct. It is the "pickup" sensor. No worries.
