    need help finding a Pal tv

    i know that many tvs in europe are both ntsc and pal
    aparently there are little to no pal capable tvs sold in america

    if anyone knows of one let me know
    if not how would one recieve satelite telivision in africa on a ntsc tv?
    greatly apreciated!

      hmmm, i thought they all did both, i know processors,dvd etc do,you would think tv would, i'll check mine out and see

          I'm a little confused as to how/why you're trying to watch an NTSC TV in Africa from MN...? :scratchhead:

              i am not.. a customer wants to buy a tv and take it back to africa
              i always asumed many did pal format too but now cant find any?!

                  I'd think he'd be better of buying in Africa and or over the net. Either that or buy an NTSC TV here and he'll have to convert any PAL sources to NTSC when he gets there. I think there's some sclers that might allow that.....?

                      I know that PAL shows a better resolution. Do specific DVD's utilize PAL and other NTSC? Do most do PAL? When I flip the switch on my Rotel 1060 DVD player the picture is normal one way, and split screen the other.
