    Samsung LCD

    Hi

    Stopped by at a dealer today, they were willing to sell me the LN-R408D for $3,288.00 (CDN). Apparently Samsung makes Sony's panels.......any thoughts?

      Sorry Ken, not familiar with the model.. Where you able to directly compare it to the Sony's and Sharp's? Take your calibration disc in with you, set them up as close as possible and compare. Everything else being equal whichever's GUI and price is better wins

          IMO they are very, very close to the same..... get the one that looks better, (case asthetics) and the one thats cheaper.

          On another note, this thread might be a little too old as youre looking at other options, but I thought Id reply anyway.
