    Kreisen LCD's... Any thoughts?

    Hi,

    My girlfriend is looking for a low cost TV. Kreisen has some at Target for 799 for a 26" LCD 1080i. LCD appears to be made by Phillips. Just wondering if anyone has seen these or used one, or heard anything.

      Never heard of them....

      My guess is if you want an LCD, spend an extra couple hundred and get a quality one from the likes of Sharp, Sony etc. You get what you pay for

      Otherwise if you're truly looking for a small inexpensive HD display, pick up something like this:

      I've seen the 26" HD Toshiba's on sale here for ~$450CA so you should easily be able to pick up even the top model for under $500US. It will give you a way better picture than the LCD for like half the money at the expense of a little size. Your call

      They also have 30" and 34" models available for around $700 and $1000 respectively
