the only concern I would have with the foam is that hush-boxes are inherently hot, even if your pulling air out with a fan. Typical foam rubber starts to break down eventually into a crumbly dust, an I wouldn't want that deposited in my projector. You can't beat the price though.

The remote for the 1098 is trying to control my NEC HT 1000 projector. My NEC is on standby mode until it receives a signal from the NEC remote to power on.
