    Stupid question about connectivity

My BenQ PE7800 came with a cable that has a VGA connector (male) on one end and what appear to be RGBHV connectors on the other.

    What use(s) does this have?

I told you it was a stupid question.

It's just what you say it is... a VGA-to-RGBHV cable. Assuming your projector has the corresponding RGBHV connections on it, you would use that cable to connect the PJ to a computer, or any other device such as a scaler that uses a VGA-style output (which is basically just RGBHV on a 15-pin D-sub connector).

      It's that simple?

So the only use is to use the projector as a monitor for a PC?

I didn't think it could be that simple.
