Thought's on the new 'bullet' RCA style connector

I'm not too sure about the advantages of the bullet connector...

what problem does it solve by reducing contact area?

    eddy current? explain please...

The Bullet supposedly reduces "smearing" of the signal across non-uniform metals of traditional connectors. The ground and positive conductors are both pin style and are made from tellurium copper. (I may have missed that spelling). Thus the signal and return travel evenly along their conductive path.

Of course, in a perfect world, your component your connecting to would have a female version of this pin, not the big chunky female RCA. These pins would then lock contact for a perfect signal transmission medium.

But some say, the Bullets are better than traditional RCAs, even with their standard plastic housing. Of course, Eichmann is making some other models of them now, but I don't have those in stock myself, and can't comment on them as yet.

I offer the bullets on my Quantum Silver Centauri, and they can be added to other products for a small additional charge.

Whats other than the bullet connector and Grey Tech Flex outer cover distinguish the Quantum Silver Centauri from the CatCables SilverCats?

Sorry if you've answered this a thousand times

      Thanks

David, visit Quantum Cable and go to Silver Centauri Interconnects to see the Bullets on cables.

Wallace, I also do pro-gold treatments at Quantum, offer different looks with the heatshrink and offer cable cooking standard. It doesn't take much to make a different cable. I mean, I could say, everything is different except the wire itself, and that's a true statement.

I have a pair of 804's and an HTM1 that are connected to a Rotel RMB-1095 and RSP-1098. The speaker wire I use today is Doug's Famous Quantum Silver Centauri with WBT connectors.

The cables I own today are 10feet long. Doug can cut them and reconfigure them for bi-wire but the length...

Well I bit the bullet today and bought a Denon 2200. :righton: Ecost.com have refurbished units for $289.00 with a 90 Day Manufactured warrenty.

I couldn't resist. I've been needing a decent DVD player but have been waiting for a universal. The Denon 2200 has been on my wish list,...

                Hello all,

I'm new to this forum and have a few questions about my first project. I'm selecting drivers at the moment and came across "bullet" tweeters. They all seem to be rated for extremely high power and are fairly cheap. What's the story on these things? What technology

                Hi all

I have a sony HS1 projector and I want to make up a custom component video cable using the PJ multi connector to 3x RCA's.

Does any one know where I can get one of these connectors and what the pin outs are?
