      Thanks,

That looks great. How did you do that anyways? Did you load it into some kinda camera software to lower the resolution? I posted some pics in TTP and that's what I had to do after a few attempts. I'm such a Newb.

I used a program called PaintShopPro version 8 to crop and resize the image. I also played with the brightness, contrast and gamma to make the lettering more readable as the original image was all washed out.

Retro Digital comes to town: The Avatar CD Transport from Denafrips

Do you ever see something on the web and right away, your first reaction is "I gotta have one, muy pronto!"

For whatever reasons, the new Denafrips Avatar CD transport struck that chord for me.

As an aside, how many of you knew that in 2019 vinyl outsold...

          by bleeding ears
Hi, I am having trouble getting my avatar to a proper size (too small).

I am no computer whiz so please take it slow if explaining things.

I set my scanner and anything else I could find to the lowest resolution and managed to get a very small picture up but cant get it...

When Ridley Scott released "Legand" in 1985 I couldn't wait to see it. I remember thinking that the director that gave us "Duelist" would deliver the best fantasy film of all time. :E       Instead we got the most hokey fantasy film of all time....

Best bookshelf speakers for $150 or less?
          by hans030390
I figured I could get the most for my money if I did a DIY project, so I posted here. I think the title is pretty clear...I'm looking for a pair of bookshelf speakers to buy or build (used/new, whatever) for $150 OR LESS (which I want to include everything).

The reason I set my budget...
