Unbreakable Isn't.

Well fine. Fine, fine fine! :evil:

I haven't had trouble with a DVD in a long time (many months) - until last night. I sat down to watch my Vista Series version of Unbreakable for the first time and the DVD wouldn't even load. Dammit. Took it out and cleaned it thoroughly and still no luck. I even tried it on my other DVD player in the family room - nada.

Has anyone experienced a problem with this DVD? FWIW, the players are a Panasonic RP-91 and RX-V80.

I only rented Unbreakable, thankfully. But one dvd that has given me trouble recently is GALAXY QUEST. I have watched this several times. but the other night when playing it , just near the end where the parents of the computer nerd kid are sitting on the sofa, there is a brief freeze-up. It lasted about 10 seconds then played till the end just fine.

I thought all the troublesome discs were of the early variety where the glue separated or something. Guess not. What other ones in my collection are going to act up, I wonder ?

I rented it and had no problems watching the movie. And later bought the DVD, and I've watched it twice without any problems. So that's 3 viewings with my Panasonic RP-82 DVD player.
It might be dirty, or a dud DVD.

I also bought Unbreakable.I bought it used. It's a vista series. I have not had any problems with it. Who knows how many viewings are on the disk? It has been played in a sony dvd player.
