    The Interview (2014)

I found this film somewhat puerile and shorter on laughs than I had hoped for, but I don't regret the 2 hours I spent watching it. The amazing thing to me is how sympathetically Kim Jong-un is treated. I can't imagine he is actually as 'human' as he is depicted in the film. The North Koreans should be pleased because it could easily have been a lot worse! The realism in the film is the reminder that all of us are a blend of nice and nasty.

    Interesting analysis.

Not a film I will ever watch, as I find today's definition of humor far from resembling anything that meets the definition I grew up with or can appreciate.

As far as no-holds bared satires & North Korea, Trey Parker's 2004 "Team America: World Police" would be quite difficult to top, IMHO.
