"Transcendence" Review
What's wrong with major motion pictures nowadays!!?? Today, they think that if they put some big actors in a film, they can just do anything mediocre they want....who cares about the script, story line, or the overall quality of the film?
This film is not horrible but like I've said before, I'm seeing WAY better stuff coming off of television than from Hollywood (Especially when you watch the shows on DVD without the commercials).
Johnny Depp and Morgan Freeman star in this film about a dying man (Depp) basically uploading himself into cyberspace and attempting to take over the World within it once dead. It's a great story idea but the film just fails to take off to the magical place it could have gone with the idea. It just kinda' exists and fluffs around until the inevitable predictable conclusion.
6.5/10 stars for some sort of entertainment that kept me occupied for a few hours.
