Hey guys, a big round of applause for George

George has decided to step away from the moderator hat, and just be a regular joe. I don't know how a George becmes a Joe, but he says that's what he's ready to do, so I have to honor his wishes, sadly, and with regret.

But, I understand as passions change, and times change, sometimes, it's time for a change. I've got a couple of invites out to guys to lead up our mod efforts for DVDs and Movies, and just as soon as I hear from them, we will begin transition. In the meantime, post what you want to in DVDs or Movies, talk talk talk. One of us will respond if need be, myself, or another of the staff. Of course, it's not like George had to bust a lot of heads around here anyway. But he sure has been a pleasure to meetup with in DVDs, projectors, and whatever else. George is a class act and leaves some big clown shoes to fill. JK George. :-)

You'll always be part of our family here, just know that George.

Thanks. Oh, I'll still be around from time to time. I've already explained my reasons to Doug, but I feel I also owe it to the rest of you guys, who have truly become my friends.

Simply put, the loss of my wife has changed my life. Things that once were a passion, such as home theater and movies, I now have difficulty enjoying. It's only been a little over two years so perhaps I will find that passion again somewhere down the road. My dedicated home theater doesn't get much use and in the past two years I haven't added much to my movie collection, but again, perhaps that will change in time. In the meantime, I'll stop by every now and then.

Huge thanks for your helpful reviews and as well as your humor, George! Resonated very well with me. Although I'm not here as often as I used to be I certainly will miss you but do understand that sometimes it is indeed best to look towards other horizons whilst at the same time keeping those best memories intact.
