    High Crimes




    You know, when I see Morgan Freeman in a role, he always seem to breeze right thru it. In this film he plays a lawyer who is also, a recovering alcoholic and an ex-marine. He is called to help Ashley Judd (the wife of an accused marine) whom is also a lawyer but, with a very good career. I won't go into more about the plot. I will say, these two (Judd & Freeman) have great chemistry and make this film work.

    The transfer is pristine. Very natural looking. Blacks were nice and deep.

    More than worth a rental.

      These two were great in KISS THE GIRLS so I am going to rent, or possibly buy this title.

          Saw this on the weekend and I agree Morgan always seems to do great in the roles he picks.

          Although I enjoyed him as Dr. Cross in Kiss the Girls he's not exactly who I picture from reading the novels...

              Didn't read the book so i had no preconceptions of the characters.

                      Well, I watched this over the weekend. And even though I saw the twist ending coming, I enjoyed the film. There's some really good chemistry between Freeman and Judd that carried over from Kiss The Girls.
