Vanilla Sky is anything but vanilla. Not everyone will like this film. Some say it is the worst film of the year while others say it is the best. It's about a man - Cruise- who ( in the beginning) has everything, and after a fateful car trip ends up with nothing. You will wonder, as you watch this film, what is real and what is not. After watching it, I found it hard to get it out of my mind. If you like a thriller that bends the mind, like Mulholland Drive and Mememnto, then you will like Vanilla Sky. But I'd suggest a rental before buying, just in case you find it not your cup of tea.
