    the Dead Zone

I've been waiting along time for this title to make it to DVD. This is probably my favorite screen adaptation of a Steven King novel. Probably because I like enjoy Cronenberg, and Walken rarely disappoints.
The video transfer is not bad, at times it is alittle washed out, but it's free of artifacts, this is the best I've ever seen it.
The 5.1 soundtrack is very good, it's clear and clean, and effects move to the appropriate speaker when needed, well done soundtrack.
If you like this movie it's defininitely worth having.

      by kneptune
New member, first posting. Have been a outside observer to this forum for a short time and have been gleaning good information -- excellent forum! Long time Rotel fan and hi-fi addict since high school in the late 70's.

I just purchased a RSP-1098 with version 1.1.4 software and decided...

Are the 1066 dead from an firmware point of view?
      by aarsoe
      Hi

Does anybody know if there will be any new updates to the 1066 or does Rotel considder it "dead" from a firmware upgrade point of view?
And if there will be new releases, does anybody have a clue on what may be in it?

Some of us are still holding on,...

2nd RSP 1068 Dead, Any alternatives?
      by bleeding ears
Hopefully someone at Rotel in Australia may read this.

After waiting 3 weeks for it, and then having to send back my first 1068 processor (at my expense) because it had no output signal for the subwoofer or centre speaker, I thought surely they will ensure the replacement unit is working...

      by weepus
Ok, i'm about at wits end here.
To simpify what im doing, I'll only refer to three components.
      1) The zone 2, which is just a CRT tv with composite video and simple two channel stereo... basicly, its just a tv. I'm not using Coax to feed it any signal, just the composite video and sterio...

Figured out Zone 2 operation on C 1
      by starford
Well, I finally figured out how the Zone 2 thing works on my C1. I reported earlier that operation of Zone 2 appears to be impossible from the front panel, because pushing the Zone button appears to do nothing but show the message "Zone Off", and in this I was wrong. The change I was missing...
