Water For Elephants... something original for a change

Robert Pattison is a veterinarian student who finds himself broke and homeless after the death of his parents. This is the early 1900s during the depression and jobs are hard to find. He hits the road and through an act of fate, joins up with a travelling circus as their vet. All would have been well, but the young vet falls in love with the show's starring performer, Reese Witherspoon, who happens to be the wife of the short-fused, sadistic and possessive circus owner, played convincingly by Christoph Waltz. Based on the novel by Sara Gruen, the story is both original and satisfying and plays out well on screen with some truly beautiful cinematography involving the circus.

Christoph Waltz is by far the best actor here, followed closely by Reese Witherspoon. But for me, Robert Pattinson seemed poorly cast. I couldn't detect any really good chemistry between he and Reese, and he just didn't portray a convincing character, especially at times when he was supposed to be outraged. But overall, it didn't ruin the film for me. I truly enjoyed this film and its original story and highly recommend a viewing.

I don't think vampires make very good veterinarians.

Hi all, I am a big fan of Motley Crue stuff and I am considering purchasing their latest Dvd.

Unfortunately most, if not all of their recordings seem pretty ordinary soundwise. EG Lewd Crewd and Tattooed (Great Video though and I love them girls)

Reese Witherspoon's role as the ditzy blonde is really paying off.

Reese Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo star in this romantic comedy about a withdrawn landscape architect who discovers that his new apartment in San Francisco is haunted by the ghost of its former occupant. One problem though - she doesn't realize she's a ghost!

Just Like Heaven a pleasant watch
            by George Bellefontaine
Every now and then I like to get away from the heavy drama stuff and the action flicks and sit down with my wife and watch something I feel we would both enjoy. Just Like Heaven filled the bill. It stars Reese Witherspoon as a young dedicated doctor ( so much dedicated that she doesn't have a life)...
