    the Eagle has Landed.

Here is a story about the art of war!
A smartly written story that at times can be alittle cheesie.
Robert Duvall gives his usual, and dives head first into his character, excellent acting. Donald Sutherland plays that same type of WW2 stoner type that he played in Kelly's Heros. (except Irish) Michael Caine the honorable, no nonsense field commander. Larry Hagman is hilarious, his character really doesn't fit in here, but he's too funny, and in the long run he kinda saves the day.
This DVD comes with one stipulation...if it costs more than 9 bucks, I wouldn't buy it.
The transfer absolutely SUCKS (can I say that?)
Some shots look no better than one of those "unfinished deleted scenes" you see in the special features section of other discs. Others made me think my projector's focus was going out, then 10 or 20 second later everything would come back. At times there was no shadow detail.
Artisan could have done better by this title, I'm hoping for an SE down the road.

Steve Miller Band: Fly Like An Eagle

I just read a review by Marshal M. Rosenthal (whoever he is) in Home Theater Mag about the new DVD, Steve Miller Band: Fly Like An Eagle--DTS.

I'd like to have this DVD but can't find it. DVD Search came up with nothing and neither did search engines.

Hey Zaph, about those 2R0 Eagle resistors...
    by Amphiprion
I'm a wirewound man myself, but I thought your readers might like to know that a 3R5 and a 4R7 in parallel make a really nice 2.0061 ohm resistor. Madisound is out of the 4R0 Eagle's, but the 3R5 and 4R7 are still in stock.

    What determines sound character ?
    by sharnyo
I would like to discuss about the role of equipment in producing a particular sound character. We have heard certain equipment produces different tonal balance, brightness, soundstage, clarity, and other adjectives to describe it.

We know that each part plays a role ie. media, source,...

    RB-03 and RB-1070, much difference in quality/character?
    by Rich Lukey
Has anyone compared these two directly? I have an RB-1070 due to it coming up locally for a good price with my existing RA-1062 performing pre-amp duties. An RB-03 has now popped up for sale locally. The 1070 can dish out more power but that doesn't matter much to me. If the RB-03 is no real downgrade...
