I'm a wirewound man myself, but I thought your readers might like to know that a 3R5 and a 4R7 in parallel make a really nice 2.0061 ohm resistor. Madisound is out of the 4R0 Eagle's, but the 3R5 and 4R7 are still in stock.

Yup, lots of options. The feeling I got from chatting with madisound is that the Eagles are slowly going bye-bye. They are looking into other options, but the wirewounds look fine. Their inductance measurement noted in my blog seems high compared to others, but I trust it. My LCR meter isn't accurate measureing inductance that low.

2.2 is fine for the ZMV5 design in my opinion also.

I started using the Lynk MOX resistors from meniscusaudio and they have better tolerance than the Eagles and good quality leads for a similar price.
