Integra Sound Character

I was wondering if anyone could comment on the general sound character of Integra's products? I know there are alot of things that factor in but im just trying to get a general consensus before I make a decision on there CD changer. (Will not have a chance to listen)

Its a deal im getting from a friend for a dirt cheap price of 100 bucks for the CDC 3.4 changer with one hour of use. Its from an authorized dealer with full warranty.

What word would first come to mind ?

Bright ?
Neutral ?
Warm ?

Any help would be great.

I haven't heard the CD 3.4 but I own the DPC 8.5. I listen to DVD-A and SACD disks almost exclusively and I like the unit quite well.

I don't know what the differences are between the two units other then the DPC 8.5 being able to play everything including CDs.

At 100$ with the Wolfson DACs, it's a steal. Go for it.

Im actually picking it up late next week. At this price its a no brainer. I was just curious about there sound.

I have been told not to worry. Its apparently a sleeper :Z no one knows about. 8)

Cant wait to get it. Its a very stout 15.00 lbs. Which is pretty heavy by todays standards. Most changers are around 10-12 lbs. This is a good sign.

Thats another bonus about the DAC's I did not know. I finally found the spec part on the site. :T Looks like there are two of them as well. :-y

The warranty at 3 years is quite nice as well.
