DVD review is reporting a box set for 2001 is slated for release on 6/12 at a "hefty" 59.98...be warned this is NOT the new remastered transfer we have been promised for later in the year, it is a rerelease of the old transfer...Kenny

Thanks,Kenny. My DVD of 2001 is not anamorphic and I have been waiting for that remastered transfer to show up.I wonder how many people are going to be sucked in with the box set ?

Up date, it looks like we'll get both on 6/12, the Box Set, and the Warner release for $24.95 so both will probably be the new enhanced transfer.Comment

We (80x owners) likely have the age where we bought our albums on vinyl, or made copies from friends on compact cassette. Later I bought the cd' s.
As you aware a lot of the good albums albums are now rereleased as remastered version + bonus track+ sometimes dvd.

I just downloaded this 38 meg file and installed it on my computer.
After running the 16 tests in the 3D mark 2001 test run my final score was 311.
I would assume such a low mark is not too stunning in terms of performance. Some frame rate indicators showed scenes running... -
This CD is hard to come by. It was released in 1986 and so soon they had it out of print. Special EFX "Slice of Life" CD, I snagged a used but mint condition from a collector in Melrose Ave. for $18.95 and I used to have this CD. I've seen so many imports like what we use to like in the 80's... -
I had a large hole in my music collection that I decided to fill last week. Ordered 8 Rolling Stones CDs, which I received yesterday, and have ripped to FLAC and stored on my NAS.
Not that exciting, except...all were priced below $12, and all were remastered. Still not that exciting,...
