Rachel McAdams is a young network TV executive producer, hired to save a dying morning show. On her first day she fires an arrogant anchorman and forces Harrison Ford ( he was a one time anchor great, now sitting out the remainder of his contract, doing as little as possible ) to take the position alongside co-anchorwoman, Diane Keaton. Ford refuses to play along, doing more harm that good, but McAdams, though banging her head against the wall a few times, perseveres, intent on saving the show from cancellation.
The stunts she puts the wingy weatherman through had the wife and I in stitches.
Rachel is excellent as the tv exec and Ford and Keaton are fun to watch as the feuding co-anchors. Highly recommended rental. :T
