    Unstoppable--worth the ride (pun intended)

A diverting and entertaining action movie, with good onscreen chemistry between Chris Pine and Denzel Washington. Worth a rental or a bargain bin purchase (I'm unlikely to watch it again but I would not protest if I were at someone's house and they wanted to play it while I was there).

Hey, Paul, you saved me from starting a thread on this one. Wife and I watched it last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Since once you know how the film ends, it has a low rewatch value. Excellent rental though.

        Rental windows....here we go again

YET EVEN as DVD surges, it is on a different economic path than video, and one that is fraught with dangerous unknowns.
Where video enriched Hollywood through rental fees and sales, the hottest action in DVD right now is in sales. Chains like Wal-Mart Stores Inc., Target Corp. and Best...

        The Losers mildly diverting

Saw this recently. Looks and sounds great on BD. Mildly entertaining while it's on but I have no desire to watch it again. A decent rental when you're looking for an action movie that isn't too long (just over 90mins. so you'll still have time to do something else that day) but nothing that is worth...

I'd like some input (no pun intended)
        by Lex
Input on whether we have a basis for a separate analog audio section.

I've had a request for it. I personally don't see the problem in a Fine audio section, as I thought this was intended, combining analog and solid state. however, if you guys really think we are missing the mark, this...

        Take A Mind-bending Ride
        by George Bellefontaine
Vanilla Sky is anything but vanilla. Not everyone will like this film. Some say it is the worst film of the year while others say it is the best. It's about a man - Cruise- who ( in the beginning) has everything, and after a fateful car trip ends up with nothing. You will wonder, as you watch this film,...
