Wow, I'm surprised no one has reviewed this one yet! If you're a lover of rock music, you'll really like the soundtrack. Lots of 60's music from the Stones, Beatles, and many others.
The film is a rather quirky comedy about a ship parked off the coast of Britain in the 60's transmitting rock-and-roll to the masses, since it couldn't be played on British radio. My wife and I both loved this, and were thoroughly entertained (which is somewhat rare for her...).
I watched the blu-ray version which looked and sounded great, and apparently the American version is a bit shorter than the British version. One recommendation I will make is that you MUST watch the deleted scenes. The director comments at the start that many scenes had to be cut due to time constraints, no story line fit, etc., but they are definitely some of the funniest scenes...some even better than the movie itself.
