Stan Helsing... why do I ...

... get sucked into watching these silly parody movies. This is just a bunch of nonsense with next to no storyline and the only recognizable face, to me anyway, was Steve Howey ( Reba ), Kenan Thompson and Leslie Nielsen in drag. My God the man must have been desperate.

Anyway, Howey is a video store clerk. It's Halloween night and he must deliver some videos. He and his buddy ( Kenan ) and their girlfriends start the trip and encounter all the usual horror monters from movies like Nightmare On Elm Street, Halloween, Friday The 13th, Chucky, etc,. Anyway the whole plot is rather pointless and the ending stupid. And to think I put good money out for this turd.

Avoid like the plague unless your are desperate for some tits and ass. Well, the two girl friends did make the 90 minutes almost worthwhile...

Nothing like a little T&A to put a smile on ones face. But, I still won't be giving this one a view. Thanks for the heads up.

See George, here's an example. Came, read your review and found useful info. But I don't really know what to put as a comment other than"sorry", thanks for taking the hit."

Yeah, little ol' sacrificial lamb me...

Seriously, though, your comment tells me I've accomplished something. I really feel good when I can warn members here about turds like Stan Helsing. But I'm sure some here will watch this and feel it isn't all that bad, and that's okay with me, too. I've done the same thing after reading someone else's warnings about turds, only to reach my own conclusion that heck, it wasn't all that bad.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm so far behind in my viewing pile, any reliable advice about stinkers is well appreciated.

George, whenever I see a title like that I run the other direction. I figure it's a parody or porn. Thanks for taking it for the team, bro'.

              Halloween and spooky movies

With Halloween fast approaching I thought it would be fun to create a list of those special horror/thriller type movies that run in the vein (pun intended) of Halloween.

Here are some of my favs:

              American Werewolf in London
              The Howling
              Dracula (Coppola's)...
