I recently bought the TOS original movie set on BD and have started watching them. I'll add to this post each time I watch another one to give a quick review. I think the set is a pretty good value ($80/6 BDs + bonus disc).
Star Trek: The Motion Picture
For the most part, this one didn't seem to gain all that much from the transfer. The soundtrack is TrueHD 7.1 and is decent, but I don't get any real "wow" out of it. I will say that some close up scenes will remind you that this is a blu-ray and not dvd, but only every now and then.
Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan
I could pretty much copy/paste my thoughts from the first one for this one as far as the transfer quality and sound goes.
Star Trek III: The Search For Spock
Definitely a more noticeable video quality increase on this one than the first two.
