    Shawshank on Blu-ray

    Just picked this sucker up at Fry's. Very nice PQ & detailed soundtrack with very well done music.. It's not your typical action movie obviously, but the Blu-ray does it great justice. I also have to say it has some of the nicest packaging I've seen in a blu-ray so far. It's like an actual book, and the front part has pages with some great color photos and commentary about the movie, and the last "page" of the book on the back cover is the case where the disc is held. Very quality feel to it.

    If you haven't seen Shawshank Redemption, this is a no brainer purchase.

      That is the same packaging I have for How the West Was Won and JFK. I believe it is also available on Bonnie and Clyde (the only HD DVD release with that packaging, for those who are collectors of relatively rare items) and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. I think Dirty Harry has the same packaging as this too. All are Warner releases, if I'm not mistaken.
