    Sony BD301 & I Robot incompatible

    I tried to play I Robot in my Sony BDPS301 and I got a red warning sign saying you need to upgrade the firmware!!

    So I got the CD from Sony for the new firmware but I still get the same message!!!

    Sony suggestion well sorry you need to send the unit for repair!!!! Well it is two months old so I am taking it back to Costco. My Panasonic was much better what a piece of junk.

    Any one else had problem with the Sony!

      ...Why not just hook it up via ethernet to the network and let it update on there?

              If you burn the upgrade to disc you can use the disc to upgrade the unit. I am going to do that with my 500 as soon as I get my new burner installed in my computer. Go to the Sony website and read how.
