It stars Morgan Freeman and John Cusak, and that alone was the reason I rented it, not really knowing what to expect. Well, turns out it was a nice little film that kept me glued to my seat for a little over 90 minutes.
Morgan Freeman is an assasin who, after getting arrested after a car accident, escapes during a transfer by the FBI and falls into the hands of ex-cop turned teacher, John Cusack. Cusack and his son are bonding on a camping hike in the wilderness when they come upon Freeman, handcuffed to a dead FBI agent. Cusack is intent on taking Freeman back to the authorities but Freeman's associates have otrher ideas and Cusack's main goal then becomes the survival of himself and his son.
Good acting as usual from Freeman and Cusack, to the point where you even begin to like Freeman's character for reasons I won't go into here. The action takes place in the wilderness and the scenery is breathtaking. I highly recommend this sleeper. Though I rented it, I liked it enough to want to watch it again sometime, so I will buy it when it goes to the previously viewed bin.
A big :T
