Gave this a spin last night. It replaces my laserdisc version and what a replacement it is. Picture quality is pretty much as I remembered it when I first saw it in the theater. And the re-do on the Dolby Digital 5.1 was really nice, adding some low end that was missing on the LD version. If you like action flicks and you don't have this in your collection, get it now. The helicopter air fight between Roy Scheider and Malcom MacDowel is worth the price of the dvd alone.

First movie I saw in a THX blessed theater. THX was new and they had certified the AVCO General Cinema in Westwood in anticipation of the opening of The Empire Strikes Back.

For those who may not have seen the film, " catch ya later " was a phrase the Malcolm MacDowel character used often. As you aware a lot of the good albums albums are now rereleased as remastered version + bonus track+ sometimes dvd.
