Gave this a spin last night. It replaces my laserdisc version and what a replacement it is. Picture quality is pretty much as I remembered it when I first saw it in the theater. And the re-do on the Dolby Digital 5.1 was really nice, adding some low end that was missing on the LD version. If you like action flicks and you don't have this in your collection, get it now. The helicopter air fight between Roy Scheider and Malcom MacDowel is worth the price of the dvd alone.

For those who may not have seen the film, " catch ya later " was a phrase the Malcolm MacDowel character used often. After I first saw the film in the theater, along with others I knew who also saw the film, we all started using that phrase until it became downright annoying.Originally posted by Brandon B

Tonight, I searched the jazz archives of my local Disc Exchange for something to purchase. I saw one of those...-

by David MeekI understand that THX is basically a set of standards that define acoustic properties and equalization curves. My question is are there any DTS format DVD's that are THX certified? Are the two mutually exclusive for some reason? There are loads of Dolby Digital DVD's that are THX certified, but I can't... -
by Chris DWow, I was pretty impressed with this one. Not an Integra product, but Onkyo seems to be putting out a good one with this release:

by gerardhnHello,
We (80x owners) likely have the age where we bought our albums on vinyl, or made copies from friends on compact cassette. Later I bought the cd' s.
As you aware a lot of the good albums albums are now rereleased as remastered version + bonus track+ sometimes dvd.
